Tips: What are A, B, C and D tripping curves of the circuit breaker?
As to the miniature circuit breaker, there are a total of four kinds of magnetic tripping curve types. The tripping curve can be A/B/C/D:
- A-model tripping curve
The magnetic tripping current is (2-3)In. It is suitable to protect the semiconductor electronic circuit, measurement system with small-power power transformer or system with long circuit and low current. - B-model tripping curve
The magnetic tripping current is (3-5)In. It is suitable to protect the power distribution system of the residents, household appliances and personal safety. - C-model tripping curve
The magnetic tripping current is (5-10)In. It is suitable to protect the distributing line and the lighting line with a relatively high connecting circuit. - D-model tripping curve
The magnetic tripping current is (10-20)In. It is suitable to protect the equipment with a relatively high impulse current, such as the transformer and solenoid valve and so on.
Complying with IEC standard, 2-pole miniature circuit breaker, with rated current 50 amp, interrupt rating 6kA at 230/400V AC, is suitable for supplementary protection against short ciruit and over load for commercial and industrial applications.
