Tips: The slip ring structure and working principle.
According to the medium transmitted by slip rings, slip rings can be divided into power slip ring, hydraulic slip ring, optical slip ring, or can be collectively referred to as rotary connector or slip ring connector. The slip ring is mainly composed of two parts, rotating and stationary, and is usually installed at rotation center of the device. Rotating part connects rotating structure of the device and rotates with it, called the rotor. Static part connects fixed structure of the device, called the stator.
Design of the stator and rotor is a precise superposition of single-passage. Number of superimposed passages is set according to usage requirements. During assembly, make passages of stator in one-to-one correspondence with passages of rotor to form passages between rotor and stator. The electrical performance between each passage must be independent of each other and there should be no interference.
When a passage is formed between stator and rotor, there must be contact between the two. Their contacts are the functional part of entire slip ring and are the carrier of various performances. Therefore, selection for the material of contact portion, rational design, precise production of components, and the like constitute a stable and reliable rotary communication system. Load slip rings on rotating device, through the leads at both ends of the slip ring, then the required signals can be transmitted in a rotating state.
