Tips: Explanation of common terms for hydraulic rotary actuator.

  • F axial force: the force directly acting on the screw pair regardless of the force arm.
  • F Radial force: the force directly acting on the screw pair regardless of the force arm.
  • L moment arm: the distance between the acting force and the center of screw pair.
  • F: force
  • M bending moment = FL
  • M output torque: there are clockwise and counterclockwise. The direction of hydraulic thrust through the output capacity of the screw pair.
  • M holding bending moment: the product of F and L. After the rated value is exceeded, the hydraulic rotary actuator is opened by the two-way balance hydraulic lock, and the actuator starts to rotate.
  • R rotation angle: the angle of rotation under the action of M output torque.
