Tips: What determines the thrust of the linear actuator?

Motor is the most important in linear actuator. The linear actuator generally adopts the DC push rod with brush. The thrust is determined by the motor. The speed and power of the motor determine the force to be generated. The thrust of the motor is converted into different thrusts through the reduction ratio. The thrust is transmitted outside through the worm and gear transmission. The worm and gear is generally an ordinary  ball screw, which can increase the efficiency to 80%, indicating that only 20% of the process consumption is missed. Compared with the ordinary leakage of 50%, it is clear that the ball screw has higher efficiency. Of course, the self-locking ability of the ball screw is relatively poor.

How to increase or decrease the thrust? The most direct way is to replace the motor, and the other is the change in the reduction ratio, thus changing the thrust. It should be noted that the thrust of the linear actuator cannot be changed after delivery.
