Tips: Troubleshooting for thermocouple secondary treatment
Secondary instrument is to compare the introduced millivolt voltage signal with temperature and compensate temperature of the cold side of thermocouple. If model of thermocouple selected in the secondary instrument configuration is not consistent with that of the field, temperature measured through conversion will have errors. If environment temperature measured by temperature measurement thermistor of secondary instrument is not accurate, field temperature through conversion will also have errors. In addition, if secondary instrument is a temperature transmitter which outputs current, temperature range of the output current signals should be consistent with the displayed configuration in the control room.
N type thermocouple assembles with protection head and stainless steel thermowell. Its thermo wire diameter is Ф2.5mm. N type thermocouple can directly measure the temperature of liquid, vapor, gas medium and solid surface in the range of -40~1200 ℃ in various production processes.
