Tips: Troubleshooting of magnetostrictive sensor
There are several output methods of magnetostrictive sensor: Current output 4~20mA, voltage output 0~5V (effective range 0.5~4.5V), voltage output 0~10V (effective range 1~9V).

  1. If the output is lower than the minimum value (effective range), the sensor may work in the upper dead zone. However, if the output is larger than the maximum (effective range), the sensor may work in the lower dead zone, and then it is necessary to adjust the installation position.
  2. If the output value is 0, it is necessary to check magnetic ring, power and wiring of the sensor due to falling off of magnetic ring, power failure and loose wiring.
  3. If the output is unstable, it is necessary to check magnetic ring and power of the sensor due to loose installation of magnetic ring and underpower.
