Tips: Precision and long-term stability of magnetostrictive sensor
The accuracy of magnetostrictive sensor should reach ±2% ~ ±5% RH. In case of fail to reach this level, it cannot be used as the measuring device. However, it is difficulty to reach the accuracy of ±2% ~ ±3% RH. The peculiarity introduced in the product information is usually measured at normal temperature (20℃±10℃) and in clean gas. However, due to the influences of dust, oil and harmful gases in actual use, it will be ageing and its accuracy will be reduced after it is used for a long time. The precision level of sensor should be judged by combining its long-term stability. Generally, long-term stability and service life are the most import problems influencing the quality of sensor. There are few products with annual drift controlled within 1%RH, generally within about ±2%.
