Tips: Common faults for a temperature transmitter
- There's no change at the transmitter output when the temperature of the measured medium increases or decreases. This is mostly caused by the seal of the temperature transmitter, perhaps the temperature transmitter is not sealed well, or when it is welded, a small hole is bored on the sensor accidentally. In this case, the solution is to replace the transmitter shell.
- The output signal is instable. This may be caused by the temperature source itself. The temperature source doesn't have stable temperature. If the instrument can't display stably, then it doesn't have enough anti-interference ability.
- Output error of the temperature transmitter is large. Many reasons may cause this problem, such as the thermal resistance wire of the selected temperature transmitter is incorrect, thus leading to measuring range error. Or the temperature transmitter is not correctly calibrated when it left the factory.
Smart temperature transmitter supports various input signal, such as RTD, thermocouple, resistance and voltage signal, using PAD or PC for configuration freely, automatically adjusting input signal type, measuring range and thermocouple cold junction compensation, optional HART communication function, with high accurate, low temperature drift, long service life, and easy to replace.
