Tips: Electrical considerations for limit switches
In the case of AC and DC, the capacity of limit switch is very different, so please use the limit switch within the rated range.
In the case of DC, the control capacity of the limit switch is extremely low. This is mainly due to the fact that direct current does not have a zero point (current zero intersection) like alternating current, and once an arc is generated, it is difficult to disappear. The arc time is long and the current direction is fixed, so there will be a migration of the contacts. Contacts cannot be disconnected due to unevenness.
In the case of including induction, a reverse induced voltage is generated. The higher the voltage, the greater the energy, and the greater the loss and migration of the contact. Therefore, use the limit switch within the rated conditions. Use a limit switch for micro-loads in the case of small voltages and currents. Using general silver contacts may reduce contact reliability.
High temperature coil spring limit switch has spring top diameter 6.5mm or 1.2mm, can be used for micromotion detecting. The coil spring also has automatic reset function. The default rated current and voltage is 5A/220VAC. Other values can be customizable like AC 120 volt, AC 380 volt, DC 12 volt, DC 48 volt, etc. High temperature limit switch with coil spring has fully enclosed 1NO + 1NC contact switches can be used in the environment temperature 350℃ (622℉).
