Tips: Variable Frequency Drive Output unbalanced
VFD output unbalanced is generally expressed as motor dithering and speed instability. The main reason is the damages of the module, drive circuit, reactor, etc.
For example, a 15hp VFD with output voltage difference of about 100V.
Analysis and maintenance: Open the VFD, check the inverter module online and find there is no problem. Measure the six-way drive circuit and find no fault. And then remove the module, and find in bridge upper of one way, a high-power transistor cannot normally turn on and off. The module is broken. And confirmer drive circuit has no fault. Finally replace the transistor, and then the VFD is normal.
