Feature

Tips

The difference between compressed air filter & regulator  and ordinary oil-water separator.

The working principle of the compressed air oil-water separator is: when the compressed air enters the oil-water separator, the flow direction and speed will change sharply, and then rely on inertia to separate the oil droplets and water droplets with a higher density than the compressed air. For common impingement and circular rotary oil-water separators, after the compressed air enters the separator housing from the inlet, the airflow is first blocked by the baffle and folds back downwards, and then rises upwards to produce a circular rotation. In this way, water droplets and oil droplets are separated from the air under the action of centrifugal force and inertial force and settle at the bottom of the shell. The oil droplets can be discharged by regularly opening the bottom valve. The preliminarily purified air is sent to the air storage tank from the outlet.

The oil-water separator is composed of a shell, a separator, a filter element, and sewage components. When the compressed air containing a large amount of oil and water solid impurities enters the separator, it spins down along its inner wall, and the centrifugal effect produced causes the oil and water to separate out of the steam flow and flow down the wall to the bottom of the oil-water separator, and then by The filter element is finely filtered. Because the filter element is folded by using coarse, fine, and ultra-fine fiber filter materials, it has a high filtration efficiency (up to 98%) and low resistance. When the gas passes through the filter element, due to the block of the filter element, inertial collision and Intermolecular van der Waals force, electrostatic attraction and vacuum suction force are firmly adhered to the filter material fibers, and gradually increase into droplets, which drip into the bottom of the separator under the action of gravity. It is discharged by the drain valve.
