Torque sensor dimension (unit: mm):

Micro reaction torque sensor 0.5Nm to 150Nm dimension
Tips: Torque sensor has abnormal torque or high torque value on torque controller

When torque sensor is connected with a controller (meter), the controller display abnormal torque or high torque value.

  1. Such a problem is common because of the non-correspondence between the torque meter range parameter and torque sensor range. Firstly check if the torque sensor is OK, disconnect the sensor away from the meter, and check the original signal of the sensor with the oscilloscope or multimeter. Check if the sensor zero point is 10 kHz, and check if the frequency value is normal after loading. If it is normal, the problem lies in the torque meter parameter.
  2. Check if the meter parameter range adjustment is consistent with the sensor range. For instance, when the reaction torque sensor is in full range 10Nm, the meter parameter range value is 10.
  3. If the meter display torque is fixed and the L red light on the panel is always ON, the problem lies in the meter alarm parameter settings. The upper limit alarm and lower limit alarm. Check if the meter parameter AL1F and AL2F parameters are 0. 0 is the upper limit alarm, it means to alarm when it is higher than the alarm setting value. 1 is the lower limit alarm, it means to alarm when it is lower than the alarm setting value. If set to 1, as long as the torque setting value is not reached, the meter has always been in the alarm status, and display has no reaction.
