The pH glass electrode can be used for pharmaceutical, food and beverage, microbial technology.

The pH electrod installation methods:
PH electrod installation methods
1. Side wall installation (*The pH electrode must be at an angle of 15 degrees to the liquid surface. Otherwise, it will affect the normal use of the pH electrode.)
2. Flange mounted at the top

Tips: How to calibrate a pH electrode?
Preparations before use:

  1. Remove the protective sleeve from top of the electrode and keep properly.
  2. Clean the white salt deposits on the external surface of the electrode with deionized water.
  3. Swing the electrode slightly, like swinging a thermometer, so as to remove bubbles from electrodes.

Calibration of pH electrode:

  1. Install the pH electrode and power on.
  2. Prepare 250ml pH standard solutions with distilled water or deionized water, the pH value of standard solutions are 4.00, 6.86 and 9.18 respectively.
  3. Open the electrode protective sheath and clean the electrode probe in the distilled water, turn the pH meter to the calibration interface.
  4. Put the electrode in 4.00, 6.86 and 9.18 standard solution respectively, rinse the electrode completely with distilled water when replacing the measurement standard solutions.
  5. The pH electrode can be normally used after calibration.
