Note: The detection range of diffuse reflection laser sensor can be adjusted by the knob on the box (Clockwise rotation for adding distance, anticlockwise rotation for reducing distance). The detection range of through beam laser sensor can be adjusted by the distance of projector and receiver.

Tips: Laser sensor for traffic flow monitoring
The laser sensor is generally fixed on the gantry of the high-speed or important intersection. The laser emission and reception are perpendicular to the ground, aiming at the middle of a lane. When there are vehicles passing through, the laser sensor can output the relative change value of the measured distance value in real time to delineate the outline of the vehicle under test. This measurement method generally uses a ranging range of less than 30 meters, and requires a relatively high measuring rate of laser ranging. It is generally required that the measurement rate can reach 100 Hz. This can achieve good results for monitoring in important road sections. The laser sensor can distinguish various types of vehicles, and the sampling rate for scanning the height of the vehicle body can reach 10 cm per point (at 40Km/h, the sampling rate is 11 cm per point). It can distinguish the height limit, length limit and vehicle type of traffic flow in real time, and can quickly output the results.
