  • The star-delta step-down start of the asynchronous motor is simple and easy to implement, and the current is greatly reduced.
  • Since the starting current of the motor is proportional to the power supply voltage, the starting current provided by the grid at this time is only 1/3 of the starting current of the full voltage, so the starting torque is only 1/3 of the starting torque of the full voltage, which is only suitable for no-load or light motor.
