Tips: Thermal dispersion flow switch installation tips

  • The connection form of the ATO thermal dispersion flow switch and the medium pipeline is G1/2 thread by default (other thread connections can also be provided according to user requirements, such as G1/4, M18). It can be directly inserted into the pipe (pipe diameter D is greater than 1"), or can be connected through a three-way pipe (pipe diameter D is less than or equal to 1"), which is quick, convenient and simple to replace.
  • In order to avoid false signals due to cavitation, please do not install the thermal dispersion flow switch on the elbow or near the pipe head (minimum distance > 2 times the pipe diameter).
  • If the thermal dispersion flow switch must be installed horizontally, and the pipe is not completely filled with the medium, make sure that the probe part enters the medium with a depth of 10mm during installation.
  • When installing the thermal dispersion flow switch, do not forcefully rotate the middle part of the thermal flow switch. Please use suitable tools for installation, otherwise the thermal flow switch will be damaged.
  • If the thermal dispersion flow switch must be installed horizontally and there may be deposits in the pipeline, the dispersion flow switch should be installed on the side of the pipeline.
  • The thermal flow switch cannot be subjected to the impact of water flow. If a quick closing valve is installed under the water flow switch, a suitable throttle must be used to prevent the impact of the flow.
