Tips: Current sensor applications
- Detect the current harmonics of the electronic equipment absorbing from power grid.
- Detect the slight current waveform distortion in the PWM circuit.
- In spot welder and pulse plating equipment, the Hall effect current sensor can be used to detect the current waveform and the peak voltmeter can be used to test the output voltage of sensor, thus calculating the measured peak current.
- Hall effect current sensor has noninductive characteristic and response quickly. It's most suitable for detecting current signals in overcurrent or short-circuit protection circuits of the electronic equipment, so as to realize a fast protection.
- Hall effect current sensor still has the electrical isolation in DC detection, which expands its application range.
- In the electronic equipment that outputs current, Hall effect current sensor can also be used to obtain DC current signal, so as to realize current feedback, interception control, constant-current regulation, and overcurrent and short-circuit protection at the DC side.
