6 tips for using DC variable power supply

  1. According to the required voltage, first adjust the "coarse adjustment" knob, and then gradually adjust the "fine adjustment" knob to achieve correct coordination. For example, to output 12V voltage, you need to set the "coarse adjustment" knob at 15V, and then adjust the "fine adjustment" knob to 12V, while the "coarse adjustment" knob should not be set at 10V. Otherwise, the maximum output voltage cannot reach 12V.
  2. After adjusting to the required voltage, connect the load.
  3. In the use process, if it is necessary to change the "coarse adjustment" gear, disconnect the load first, and then connect the load after the output voltage is adjusted to the required value.
  4. In the process of use, when the protection is caused by load short circuit or overload, first disconnect the load, then press the "reset" button, or turn on the power again, the voltage can resume normal operation, and then connect the load after troubleshooting.
  5. When each power supply with different rated current is used in series, the output current is the rated value of the lowest one.
