Tips: Installation and use

• For newly installed or long-term unused voltage regulator, a 500V megger shall be used to measure the insulation resistance of coil to ground before operating it. It can be safely used only when the resistance is no lower than 5megohm, otherwise it shall be heated in advance. Heating treatment can be realized with charged drying method or drying in the oasthouse,. After heating treatment, check whether the fasteners are loose. If they are, tighten them.
• The supply voltage should comply with the rated input voltage on the regulator nameplate.
• The voltage regulator shall be well grounded to ensure safety.
• Notice that the output current doesn’t exceed the rated value when using. If there is a short-term load, it can not exceed the requirement of 120%/1min, otherwise it may reduce the service life of voltage regulator or even burn the voltage regulator.
• When using, the handle should be rotated evenly and slowly, so as not to cause the brush to damage or spark.
• Check the service conditions regularly. If the brush is found to be excessively worn or damaged, replace a new one and polish the bottom surface of brush with placing a 0 sand paper under the brush, it can be used after well connection. The replaced copper graphite composite brush shall strictly comply with specification requirements.
